Happy New Year Everyone!

Will you open the present of the New Year?

Earlier this week a friend posted a different way of looking at the New Year and resolutions; she works with a word or two that will carry her through the year in all aspects of her life.

This really spoke to me as a much better way to approach the direction I want my life to be going for this upcoming year. After giving some thought on what words would best fit me for 2011; it didn’t take long to have them revealed.

My two words for the New Year are HEALTH & GROWTH! They really encompass all areas of my life…spiritual, physical, mental & business and are an extension of the journey I started this past year.

I am looking forward to a fresh new year of possibilities and hope you are, too!

Do you have one or two words for yourself for the New Year of 2011? If so, I would love for you to share them!

  1. Happy 2011, LaDonna!

I hope the holy days were a time of peace, joy, and love for you and your family and friends.

I, too, gave up on resolutions years and years ago. I’d usually forgotten most of them by Grounds Hog Day and the few I managed to remember went by the wayside long before Easter.

This year I’ve come up with a theme for myself, to help propel my life forward: Living in God’s Plan. I’m focusing on this because I’ve become aware in recent months particularly that I plan the way I think things should go…but then God always has a better plan. So, this year I want to be much more deliberate and conscious of seeking His plan and following Him!

Thank you, Charlotte! We did have some special moments during Christmas and hope that you did, also.
I love your theme for this coming year…seeking God for His plan is always the best way to go!
Here’s to a wonderful year ahead with great possibilities!
