Low-Carb Mint Chocolate Chip Matcha Frappe

I just started a Keto lifestyle in March of 2017, so I am still learning.

My sweet tooth has considerably decreased, but I still like to re-create healthier versions of the drinks I was enjoying at our local coffee shops.

Low-Carb Mint Chocolate Chip Matcha Frappe

1 serving (14 ounces)

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup organic full fat coconut milk (canned)

1 teaspoon organic Matcha Green Tea Powder

1 square baking chocolate, grated or chopped fine

1 – 2  Truvia packets (or other Keto friendly sweetener of choice)

3 – 4 drops of Vitality Peppermint Essential Oil

5 1/2 ounces ice

1/2 teaspoon glucomannan (for thickening)

1/2 scoop hydrolyzed collagen (optional)

Blend all ingredients, except chocolate, together until smooth.

Pour into a tall glass and top with chocolate shavings. Enjoy!

Fat = 17 1/2 grams

Protein = 7 grams (with the collagen)

Carbs = 4 grams
